We collect only what we need to look after you well. This policy explains what that is, how we use it, and how you can ask us to change or remove it.
Information we collect
When you make a reservation we collect your name, email address, phone number, and dining preferences. When you join Ember Rewards we collect your name, email address, and visit history. When you use the contact form we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. We do not collect payment information directly — payments are processed by third-party providers.
How we use your information
Reservation data is used solely to manage your booking and send you a confirmation. Loyalty account data is used to track points, determine tier status, and communicate rewards. Contact form data is used to respond to your enquiry. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Data storage and processors
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a PostgreSQL database platform hosted on AWS in the ap-southeast-2 (Sydney) region. Confirmation emails are sent via Resend. Both services process data only as instructed and do not use your data for their own purposes.
Data retention
Reservation records are retained for 24 months. Loyalty account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at the address below.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request corrections, and request deletion. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
